This year, Women for Independence invited Ohla Maksochka to speak at their AGM in November. Ohla spoke in a section of the AGM on War and Women, looking at the impact of war on women.
Before the war, Ohla was a regional leader in Ukraine’s leading feminist organisation. Now based in Scotland, she will contribute her views of the war in Ukraine, from a feminist perspective.
