Is the independence movement a disruptive force? Liam McLaughlan asked this question in a talk at a recent Conter Conference.

Liam was a veteran of the legendary Radical Independence Campaign in 2014. We first came across him when he stood as Scottish Socialist Party candidate for Glasgow East in this year’s General Election. And recently he gave the opening speech at a conference organised by Conter to mark the 10 year anniversary of the independence referendum.
We invited him into the studio to talk about the event, his experiences and his thoughts for the future.
Liam has written this article for the National newspaper Let’s Not Waste Another Decade”
Look out for a follow up episode with highlights from other speakers at the Conference – coming soon.
