What Just Happened? Reflections on a Difficult Political Year.
Christians for Independence are a cross party group who support and independent Scotland.
At their latest meeting the group invited guest speaker Rev Dr Doug Gay to reflect on the events of the past year. Dr Gay is a Church of Scotland Minister and a Senior Lecturer at Glasgow University with a particular interest in political theology. His academic background is in Modern History and International Politics. Currently he is working on questions of theology and nationalism, with particular reference to Scotland.
His talk What Just Happened? is a fascinating discussion of the past difficult year for the Yes Movement. There is a lot of ponder on in it of whatever faith you hold to, or none.
