Peace & Security
Defending Scotland is vitally important. Like all independent nations, we will need our own defence forces for the vital task of defending Scotland, and maintaining peace & security in Scottish waters.
A key part of the Scottish independence movement is a desire to be rid of the scourge of nuclear weapons from our soil and our waters. Questions such as NATO membership are also up for debate. We will certainly join the UN and no doubt contribute to their peace-keeping forces in the future.
