The “Owning Our Futures” event offered us a great opportunity to see our quest for independence in the context of other nations and regions with similar aims, from across Europe. The ICEC delegates took part in three Q&A panels and brought their wisdom, experience and fresh thinking to the table. Listening to the Q&A we were struck at the amount of overlap between our experience and the other ICEC members.
Organised by the Scottish Independence Convention and the International Committee for European Citizens and chaired by Lesley Riddoch, this was a positive and uplifting event.
