We join Pensioners for Independence as they sit down with SNP MSP Ivan McKee at the Bacchus Bar in Glasgow for a wide-ranging discussion on the future of Scottish independence.
The conversation covers many pressing political topics, but the key theme that kept resurfacing was the SNP’s upcoming 2025 party conference – specifically the debate on whether a majority SNP victory at the next election should constitute a mandate to seek a second independence referendum, echoing the “precedent” set by Alex Salmond’s 2011 SNP majority.
